HubeX, a prominent Australian finance software provider and a product of Govreports, was a significant project during my tenure as a web designer at Govreports. As part of this project, I played a pivotal role in UI/UX design, web design, and development, aiming to create an exceptional online experience for users in the finance industry.
Throughout the development process, I started by creating 10 website wireframes to explore various design possibilities and functionalities. Through close collaboration with the client, we gathered feedback and refined the wireframes until we arrived at a final design that met their requirements and vision. The approved design featured a modern and visually appealing interface with a harmonious blend of green and grey tones. To enhance engagement and user experience, I incorporated subtle animations and captivating illustrations, elevating the website's overall aesthetics.
Given the nature of the project, it was crucial to align the design and functionalities with the client's preferences and objectives. By understanding their needs and incorporating their input, I ensured that the final design truly reflected their vision for HubeX.
In terms of the tools utilized, Figma served as the primary platform for UI/UX design. Its collaborative features facilitated seamless communication and efficient design iterations, enabling us to refine the interface and interactions. For graphics and image editing, I utilized industry-standard software like Photoshop and Illustrator. These tools allowed me to create custom graphics and optimize visual elements to align with the brand identity and overall design concept.
As for web development, I employed a range of technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JS), and PHP. These languages and frameworks enabled me to transform the approved design into a fully functional and responsive website. The use of HTML provided the structure and semantics, while CSS allowed for precise styling and layout. JavaScript added interactivity and enhanced user experience, while PHP facilitated server-side functionalities and data processing.
In summary, my role in the HubeX project involved UI/UX design, web design, and development. By creating 10 initial wireframes and collaborating closely with the client, I successfully obtained approval for a final design that embraced a green and grey theme, incorporated animations, and featured captivating illustrations. The use of tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP enabled me to deliver a visually appealing and functional website that aligned with the client's vision for HubeX.
